INSTANT BAMBOO BRIDGE

PROJECT:
In 3 hours conceive and build a bamboo bridge for meditation and rest, across a small stream.

Students travelled to Architect Tanishige's house in the mountains outside Kanazawa, sketched the idea, cut and prepared the bamboo from a bamboo grove near the house
and built the covered bridge in the given time.
Other than bamboo, materials used were rice straw rope for
tying the logs together and river stones.
